August 2007, Name Change:  

 
In order to better represent the services that we are able to provide, we have officially changed our name from L&T Precision Sheet Metal Corp. to L&T Precision Corporation.  With this change, we hope to better represent our other areas of capability, such as in-house MACHINING, WELDING, PAINTING, and SILKSCREENING, in addition to ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY via our valued partners.

January  2006, Sigma Machining Center:

L&T is proud to announce the purchase of a Sigma SDV-3219 Double Column Machining Center.  With a 125.9" x 74.8" x 39.3" travel size, this machine will allow us to meet your large part requirements. 

September 2005, Bluco Modular Fixturing System:

We are happy to announce the purchase of a Bluco D-28 Modular Fixturing System for Welding.  This system is an ideal tool for prototypes, specials or other short run welding jobs

February 2005, Motoman ArcWorld II 6020-6:

We are proud to announce our latest venture into automation :  Motoman ArcWorld II 6020-6 Robotic Welding System.  This purchase continues our commitment to improving our customers' satisfaction and will improve our welding capacity, efficiencies, and accuracy.

September 2004, Mubea Ironworker:

We are pleased to introduce the addition of a Mubea HIW 750-510 Ironworker.  This machine increases our our punching, shearing, and sawing operations productivity for select projects.

June 2004, HAAS Machining Center:

L&T is happy to announce the addition of a second HAAS vertical machining center.  With a 64"x20"x25" table size, this machine increases our our machined part capabilities and capacity and provides additional support to our sheet metal operations.

April 2004, Robotic Bending Cell:

L&T is proud to announce the addition of a Salvagnini ROBOformER high precision robotic bending cell to our facility list.  This purchase continues our commitment to providing extensive lights-out capabilities delivering high efficiency and accuracy to our customer.

April 2004, Vipros 358 Punching Cell,

In a continuing commitment to automation, L&T has added a second Amada Vipros punching cell and has added an Amada Coma punching cell.  These purchases achieve equipment redundancy and provide additional lights-out capabilities delivering high efficiency and accuracy to our customer.

April 2004, HAAS Machining Center:

L&T is happy to announce the addition of a HAAS vertical machining center with an automatic pallet changing system.  This purchase provides added support to our sheet metal operations and increases our machined part capabilities and capacity.

April 2004, Credit Card:

In an effort to provide flexibility to our customers, we now allow payment by Visa and MasterCard.

June 2003, Robotic Press Brake:

L&T is proud to announce the addition of the Amada Astro 100MHE high precision robotic bending system to our facility list.  This purchase continues our commitment to providing extensive lights-out capabilities delivering high efficiency and accuracy to our customer.

December 2002, ISO 9001:2000:

We are happy to announce the successful transition of our business system from ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000.  L&T Precision passed our transition audit on December 4, 2002 with ZERO non-conformances.

January 2001, Silkscreening:

We are proud to announce the opening of our new silkscreen capabilities.  Our silkscreen operation includes a NuArc MSP-3140 Exposure system and an All American Pressure Washer 1000PSI.

September  2000, Painting and Powder Coating:

L&T is pleased to announce the opening of our new state-of-the-art painting facility.  Our paint operation includes a Pressure Island Pre-treatment System, two Bleeker Spray Booths, one Bleeker Powder Booth, and a Bleeker Batch Oven.

Additional equipment includes a Garmat Paint Mix Room, a Wagner electrostatic gun, and a Cascade gun washer.
